THElast few weeks have seen Pink Lake ladies travelling to Hopetoun and Manjimup for events.

Eight of our senior golfers went to the Manjimup event which involved 165 players fromaround the state. As well as a lovely few days of golf, there was time to enjoy the social activities onoffer in the area.

Wednesday, May11saw a return to the home course for many to compete in a stroke event forthe coveted monthly medal.

A seeded draw had the A-grade players hitting off No. 1 and the B-graders hitting off on No.10. The captain was hopeful of some good scores given the near-perfect golfing conditions and some of the field did not disappoint her.

Denise Hocking was the worthy winner with a gross score of 93 and a net of 72. It was no surprisethat Denise also won the putting competition with only 28 putts attributing to her great round ofgolf.
